About Me
I am a former collegiate lacrosse player and coach. I now have a passion for helping other athletes improve in the mental side of their sport through building their confidence, setting goals, visualizing success, and the ability to manage their sport anxiety. Implementing these skills into their sport will lead to peak performance and success.
Why I Want To Be A Coach
I choose to be a mental performance coach because I was not given the opportunity to benefit from one when I was an athlete and I want to offer the mental performance help I never had. I have a M.Ed. in Kinesiology with a focus in sport psychology and a BS in psychology. I have been coaching lacrosse for 6 years at the high school and college level. I have also been working with athletes as a mental performance coach for the last 3 years.
My Coaching Philosophy
My philosophy is to help individuals be the best they can be and is centered around the athlete. Ever athlete is different and it is important to be able to adjust for them. I want to change the culture of sport of being more accepting and how impactful an athletes mind is or their performance.
