About Me

Mental Performance Coach helping athletes unleash their potential by equipping them with the tools, skills, and plans they need to get more out of practice and compete with consistency.

Why I Want To Be A Coach

As an athlete I didn’t reach my potential because I lacked the mental tools and skills I needed to be my best. I became a Mental Performance Coach to help athletes avoid the frustration of falling short of their potential. After completing a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and another in Mental Health Counseling, I’ve spent the last 12 years working with elite performers from sport, tactical, and corporate arenas. I’ve had the pleasure of working with thousands of high performers including elite military units, Nationally-ranked junior athletes, NCAA Division 1 programs, NFL combine trainees, and more.

My Coaching Philosophy

I take a holistic client-centered approach to mental performance coaching, accounting for the athlete’s individual characteristics, environmental factors, psychological resources, and coping skills. The mind-body connection plays a central role in my approach to equipping athletes with neuroscience-backed strategies to meeting their performance goals. Whether overcoming adversity, addressing areas of improvement, or taking their performance to the next level, I partner with the athlete to close the gap between where they are and where they aim to be.

I Best Describe My Coaching Style As…

Collaborative. Athletes want a coach in their corner, not a sage on the stage preaching at them. I prefer a collaborative approach, as the athlete knows themselves best, and working together to help the athlete claim ownership of their mental game so they can be their best when it matters most.

What I Look For In The Athletes I Coach

I work best with athletes who are hungry to get better, have a growth mindset, and want to work on their mental game (which I hope will be most athletes who sign on with Mind Ready!)
