About Me
Mental Performance Coach teaching athletes mental strategies to help enhance performance and coping with injury. This includes confidence, goal setting, relaxation, concentration, etc.
Why I Want To Be A Coach
As a Masters of Science in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology graduate I have experience working with high school teams and individuals on performance enhancement and coping with injury. I’ve chosen to be a mental performance coach because it combines my two passions of sports and psychology. I have been able to combine my two passions and help youth athletes learn how to improve their mental performance which has helped improve their overall performance. Through these experiences, I have found a new passion in helping athletic performance through these skills.
My Coaching Philosophy
Every athlete is different and while athletes may learn similar skills, those skills will not work the same for every athlete. Every athlete is an individual and have their own experiences. Through the lens of cognitive behavioral theory, I thrive to teach the importance of the skills, how to practice the skills, and how it works best for each athlete.
