About Me

Matan Lushkov draws from his personal athletic journey, his knowledge in performance psychology and leadership, and a passion for sustainable performance to help his clients maintain a healthy, balanced, and high performing lifestyle. His client-centered approach drives connection with clients as he helps them through the journey of self-exploration and reconnection with their priorities.

Why I Want To Be A Coach

Matan’s passion for performance has grown out of his own athletic successes and failures as well as the value of performance he has seen in individuals experiencing life-altering events. He aptly recognizes that for some, high-performance is a healthy way of life and he strives to help them sustain it. He focuses on meeting the clients’ specific needs and creating a transparent environment to hold honest conversations. Today, he channels his knowledge and passion into teaching performance psychology and leadership at the college level, alongside his coaching and consulting roles.

My Coaching Philosophy

Addressing the whole athlete allows us to enjoy the benefits of all the athlete has to give both on and off the playing surface. My goal is to help athletes enjoy the process of athletics pursuits while developing skills that will help them in their continued careers.

I Best Describe My Coaching Style As…

Authentic. I am a big believer in being honest with my clients. The human connection is what allows the work to be done, without that authentic relationship it is very difficult to inspire true chance.

My Favorite Book is…

As They See ‘Em

My Favorite Movie/TV Show is…

Point Break

My Favorite Podcast is…

A bit of optimism with Simon Sinek

My Proudest Accomplishment is…

Seeing clients through. I’ve had a world-class athlete debate the college/pro route and is now a doctor. I’ve worked with an executive who has gone from tired and disengaged to a thriving family man who enjoys each day.

I’m Most Grateful For…

The people around me, the “village” we build during our lives.
